Being part of a United Planet is not a voluntary thing.

You can easily elect to join or reject being a member of any group or organisation for any reason that you wish.

However it is morally not possible to take no part at all in the longevity of the very planet to which we are bound.

Your own existence is totally reliant on it continuing; so is that of your friends, current family, future generations and so on. We cannot ignore it and trust that all will be well; because it won’t!

Discard lethargy (it’s a non-pollutant so you can do so with a free conscience) and look to taking some small level of action that will help every living creature on our Earth.

If everyone did a little bit on a regular basis, then as a mass of people we would achieve a huge amount in a very short period of time and astonishingly, the whole planet would be a better place for all.

We have spent many centuries in the false belief that we can violate the planet and that it will spring back in response and heal itself. The truth is far from that and we have a joint responsibility to govern and preserve, rather than destroy.

We hope that the added understanding of the other creatures here with us will allow you to treasure the real value of the Earth and everything that surrounds us.
